About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our AdTech product team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, a solid understanding of QA processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Experience with automation testing is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based applications and backend services
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across multiple environments
  • Validate AdTech workflows, including campaign setup, targeting, reporting, tracking, dashboards, and data accuracy
  • Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects to closure using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
  • Participate in requirements analysis to ensure clarity and test coverage
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, test efficiency, and overall product stability
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts for regression suites using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or similar (good to have)

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (Manual Testing)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices
  • Experience testing web applications, backend APIs, workflows, and data flows
  • Ability to create comprehensive test cases and ensure complete test coverage
  • Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
  • Experience with API testing and familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and data validation
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  • Understanding of AdTech concepts such as impressions, clicks, targeting, audience segments, attribution, and reporting
  • Basic understanding of SQL for backend data verification
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
